Wizard World Comicon Richmond: Day 3

con floor

Ahhh….the end of the convention.  Wizard World had so much awesomeness, but everything must come to an end.  Here are your highlights from Day 3:

Billie Piper’s dazzling smile greeted each of the people asking questions at her panel, “The Wibbly Wobbly Timey Wimey Billie Piper.” She told the audience about her transition from a pop star to a geek sensation by being cast as Rose Tyler in Doctor Who. Piper talked about the overwhelming emotions that arose during the last scene she filmed and how happy she was to return for the 50th anniversary special in such a different role.

John Schneider‘s panel was like sitting down with an old friend and catching up. He had many stories from his days on the Dukes of Hazard. Schneider spoke with some pride when discussing his connection with Superman by way of Smallville.

Jason David Frank is one of the best Con Guests at Wizard World, because of the way he interacts with the audience and autograph seekers. The love he has for his fans is evident in everything he does. Geeks young and old got to live a dream by taking a self defense class taught by the Green Ranger.

The last day of the con is always bittersweet like the end of summer camp. It has been a fun time, and it will sorely be missed. Wizard World will be returning to Richmond next year in September. Until that time, thanks for the memories Wizard World… they have been quite special.

And, here are some pics from Day 3.
