My daughter picked this up , and it's a beautiful kind of fantasy/sci fi book. It also is the first children's book I'm aware with Augmented Reality tech.

The book follows Eve, a young girl, and her keeper robot, through a maybe-Earth in the possible future, looking for someplace called "Wondla." The illustrations are old-fashioned in style but deal with futuristic concepts- they set a perfect tone for this fairy tale grounded in 'reality.' Really, I'm having a hard time describing it to people, because it's kind of like Star Wars meets the Wizard of Oz meets Tiffany Aching.
