 Re: GRDsWeekly 69 – EXCELLENT
Hey guys! Love the show and I agree, Bogus Journey is better then it is given credit for and I get it more now then when it first came out. But Excellent Adventure is still way better.
But the problem with BJ is the fear I have whenever Hollyweird gets their hands of the sequels to surprise hits. They get involved and try to get their way over the original creators vision. The future is so much less cool then in EA and looks like a kids version of the future (like those colorful foam suits).
And as for a third movie, I think they laid the seeds for one in the news paper clipping they flash during the credits about their future. We need a movie about their future break up and how Rufus returns to prevent their break up.
Let me know what you think and keep up the greak show!

 Re: GRDsWeekly 69 – EXCELLENT
I just listened to the commentary. The only downside to listening to it with my DVD was that I have the PAL version, and compared to NTSC, PAL runs 4% faster so I had to keep pausing the DVD so the commentary could catch up.

I have that problem all the frakkin' time with online commentaries. And the times when I've tried to alter the speed, it didn't work at all or got the speeds mucked up.

 Re: GRDsWeekly 69 – EXCELLENT
I'm finally caught up on all my podcasts....bout damn time too.
Most of if not all of B&TEA was filmed here in Phoenix. You can really tell by the mall scenes specially when they were in the ice rink. My buddy and I argued for years over where the shootings took place, and once the interwebs tubes were put in place everything was revealed.
Metro Center Mall itself was used, and had an icerink. About 7 years after the movie, the iceerink was removed and an arcade was put in. Then a few years after that the Arcade was removed and a movie theater was put in. The only thing in Metro that is still the same from the movie is the Hot Dog on a Stick.
Golfland/Sunsplash in Mesa was used for Waterloo. Coronado High School was used for SD high.
I've been to the Circle K they were at (it's in Tempe) And I've been to see Bill's house...It's been remolded since but you can still tell its his. I Can't find Ted's house which pisses me off.... K Enough of my fanboyness.
