You know why the Sex in the City movie was to be set in Dubai?
'Cause it's the freaking centre of consumerist culture on the planet: a year or two ago they held a two week long festival dedicated to celebrating SHOPPING!
Seriously!

A movie I'm interested in seeing and will not get a wide release is Valhalla Rising. It looks gritty and more subdued than your average summer movie but still intrigues me.
