And for most of it (except for the last month), it was diet changes only, no working out. It saddens me at how easy I felt it was to do, especially as I look around and see so many people struggling.
Steps:
0) quit smoking (applies just to me)
1) no fast food at all
2) no refined sugars
Being a bachelor, I would eat out every single meal. Typically, I started having a breakfast cereal (total or Special K, add in some almonds and dried fruit), turkey or other sandwich lunch (the ham & turkey from Subway is both tasty and not bad for you). Dinner I'm still messing around with, often it's just top ramon with tuna added in. I've also found that the grilled chicken salad from McDonald's is surprisingly better than most salads you can buy (in terms of health), again I'll add some shaved almonds and some dried cherries to kick it up.
I suppose I should have actually documented my progress so I could sell it to some weight loss program, oh well. Bruce can use the photos to show to prospective clients instead

I do hope this inspires someone out there to make the change.
I did this and I'm either stoned or drunk nearly everyday (though that has changed in the last month and a half, low on money-but I'm sure this will just be better for me in the long run as well).
