 Nominations for Best Graphic Novel
It can be a compliation of past comics or something new, it just had to be published in 2008. Nominations are due by November 30th.

Whoa, is this best GN ever? I thought this was for the past year?

Hard to chime in on this one so far... should this be for a single story printed in a one book format, or does it also take into account collections of mini-series?

I don't know of a single graphic novel published this year... which I do differentiate from compilations and trades. I'm not sure they even do graphic novels anymore. God Loves, Man Kills, The New Mutants, Death of Captain Marvel... all BIG stories that they just wanted to tell in BIG format. Bottom line, RULING PLEASE! New or All Time?

I have a ruling from the commission. It says and I quote "Read the top of the thread."
ummm.... sounds kind of dickish. The GN has to have been published in its first run duing the 2008. It can be a compliation of older comics or something new. The GN just has to have been printed in 2008. This is not the best GN ever.

Kk.... then let's go with the compilation of Brian Azurella's extraordinary Vertigo series Loveless.

Damn my lazy reading! Sorry 'bout that. In that case, Dresden Files: Welcome to the Jungle. The 4 issue mini-series is concluded and the compilation will be out in a couple of weeks.
