No, and I live here in Indy... I just hate finding a place to park downtown, plus State Fair starts Friday and I need my fried butter!

Oh, c'mon now, parking isn't that hard to find. Now, the prices, they suck.

Wow, trying to do stuff at the con with a 1 year old is difficult, even when rotating watch time with the wife. At least I got to play a game of Paranoia and a run through the True Dungeon. Didn't get much of a chance to raid the dealer hall, but that's probably good for the old wallet.

Hope you had a good time Elf_NFB! Did you go with some friends or meet up with other people? Maybe the Booters? (I've seen you post there, right?)

Sorry you guys couldn't make it. I know distance can be a real obstacle. I'm just taking advantage of it while it is still in Indy; only an hour drive away for me. If (when?) it moves away, I'm not sure if I'd be able to make it.

Parking Prices DO suck unless you don't mind walking. We found a lot that charges $4 a day but it is 6 blocks away at the end of Maryland St. Since we don't drive any where, it works out fine. Drop off the luggage and then park the car. :)

Dude... I had a wonderful time. I got to run the Ork Stomp 5K (not a record time or anything... but damn good for me after recent injuries), Played a game of Steam (Mayfair Games), demo-ed a train style "road builder" game (got beat by my 7 year old niece), and found a WONDERFUL little marble game called STOMPLE!!!

I was able to attend a really decent podcasting seminar held by the D20 Radio guys (Their Pathfinder podcast won a Silver Ennie). And I lucked into a fantastic party for Burning Wheel held by Peter Adkinson and Luke Crane. The Podcast Meetup at the Claddagh on Thursday was a lot of fun.. the Yellow Menace guys were there and we had a ball. I got to chat Jim Butcher Novels with David of the Podge Cast as well as meet Jenn of the Jennisodes. If you haven't listened to the Jennisodes, you are missing out. She runs a great interview podcast and is stocked to the gills with new interviews for the next 6 months PLUS!

All that... the Ennies... Scotty's... the Ram... Claddagh... Patachour.... the evenings with my buddies out front of the hotel drinking bourbon and smoking cigars..... oh man. I'm exhausted in the most fraking wonderful way. :D

A 5K at GenCon? Wow, I never expected that.

I ran into David in the elevator Sunday morning. He seemed really out of it and was looking for his shoes. Must have been one hell of a party! I've been meaning to listen to Jennisodes. I finished the old TrapCast ones and just haven't gotten around to picking up her new one.

Scotty's of course. Love that peanut butter burger. I got all 4 dice and "won" the download for the DM screen/dice towers. We'll see if I have the crafting skills to put that together.

I finally got a copy of Spirit of the Century and got some Savage Worlds / Deadlands books. I've been thinking about mixing the two somewhat by using the Aspect system and character creation of SotC with Deadlands.

I was there, sorry I didn't respond prior to it but I was away from internet access starting Tuesday and just got back yesterday.

Had a great time! We did True Dungeon both Thursday and Friday. Took some miniature painting classes, attended some skeptic seminars, and played a few board games, and visited the Red Garter a few times.

I even bumped into Matt and saw the film short he helped with called "Once Upon a Time in 1972", it was great fun to watch. :)
