 Castle and easter eggs
So, I'm watching this week's Castle and just about had a spit take. His mother was going to a spa retreat called the Oasis of Serenity. Another reason why I love this show.
I think this would be a good place for others to share their Castle easter eggs. Game on.

She said something about "the Serenity" and I couldn't stop myself from saying "It's just 'Serenity'" aloud.

Didn't he dress as a Browncoat for one episode as a Halloween costume?

"You speak Chinese?"
"Picked some up from this show I used to watch."

 Re: Castle and easter eggs
I have to agree I love the Firefly references in the show. I wonder if Nathan Fillian has any input in the references. I know that unlike a lot of actors who don't like to be remembered for a certain character, he loves it. He even mentioned that if he could win the California lottery the first thing he would do is buy up the rights to Firefly and make new episodes for the web. Last week he tweeted that there must be a Browncoat working at the California Lottery, because he received a lottery ticket from them. I know that anytime he sees or hears anything about Firefly he tweets it. The other week he was looking for a copy of the scene from Community where they mention Firefly.
