So, I’d like to personally thank……and curse Billy Flynn, all at the same time!

Last year at Starfest, between all the craziness, a number of us went back to the room and Billy fired up his laptop, and introduced me to the new Doctor Who (Matt Smith). The last time I had watched any was just a few times in the late 70’s when I was a kid, good old Tom Baker, but that was it! Well, I was hooked in the first 5 minutes!

I continued to watch the rest of the season as they came out (freaking loved it!), and when I finally reopened my Netflix account last December, I thought I’d do some catch up. I decided not to go to far back, just the “new” stuff, starting with Christopher Eccleston on up. Someday I’ll dabble in the older stuff I’m sure. Well, finished Series 1, now a few eps into Series 2 with David Tennant, still loving it.

Here’s the “curse” Billy part! This will be a never ending watch-fest!! DOH!

Series 1: hmmm… who is this guy Captain Jack who showed up mid way through, think I’ve heard that name… oh yeah, Torchwood that everyone talks about. Crap, now let’s find that on Netflix…. There it is…..hours later… damn, that’s fun too! Dilemma, do I watch at same time, here and there, wait til it fits in the “timeline”, or what?!

Series 2: Sarah Jane Smith…. why does that ring a distant bell in my head… oh yeah, former companion from the 70’s, and wait…… The Sarah Jane Adventures! Another show to watch! On Netflix too, sadly not Instant Watch, but that’s OK!


OK, OK, so maybe I’m not really cursing at Billy too much I guess! Thanks man!!

Now, when does the next season start……. hmmmm… better get busy!

Sarah Jane Adventures is a pretty good for a kids show.

Should we then tell you that there is also a new series of K-9. I've only seen a few eps but it is OK as well.
