Wow... DC ACTUALLY did it.... they made a story not only less interesting but one that made less sense than Spider-man's "One More (no more inconvenient marriage to hot model) Day." I mean... "magic got rid of my marriage and made everyone forget I told the world my secret identity" was asinine, but it is SIMPLE and begs off all further questions.

So... in Flashpoint 5:
Spoiler! :
Barry Allen, aka the Flash, is responsible for the screwed up Flashpoint Universe because he saved his mother from being murdered. Yeah. The US government kept Superman locked up in a vault because Flash saved his own Mom. Bruce Wayne was killed as a boy prompting his father to become Batman and his MOTHER to become the Joker... because Flash saved his Mother. Oh.. and there was a deus ex machina in the middle that comes out of nowhere and is never explained as THREE universes are forced to merge to become the New 52.


well.. yeah... what? Comments? Anyone else read this?

When did DC stop doing Elseworlds??? Sigh

It doesn't even make Butterfly Effect sense..... first a little spoiler space... just in case...

Had it had ANYTHING to do with the JLA, a Butterfly Effect would have been fine. But Barry's freaking MOM? Give me a break! Of... if they had a page of him running THROUGH the various scenes he screwed up... like Bruce getting killed.... maybe THEN... but how does Barry's Mom's death make Aquaman an asshole?

I am stumped.... I only read the first 3 issues of Flashpoint. That does seem..... uhmmm.. very lame.
