 HowdyHi, I'm new to the boards, but I've been listening for a few months. I guess that still makes me kind of new, still. But I've e-mailed the show a few times. I'm "Jared in Anaheim", but I will start signing with my forum ID as well, since I've joined the hoppy froods, geeps, and other ranking members. The cred I bring to the forum is that I'm the one that suggested calling Monday "Anti-Friday" back in June.
I'm 33, 34 in Dec. I enjoy video games, but I'm not a hardcore gamer. I love Douglas Adams and JK Rowling. I also love Mary Roach. I enjoy cooking, and like to watch ATK and Food Network. I'm originally from Idaho, but have lived in Anaheim since 2004. I'm a proud fan of Boise State, and am a former member of the Blue Thunder Marching Band. I spent many hours marching around on the Smurf Turf/Boise Blue Grass. To counter the non-geekiness of being into sports, and having been a former football player, I played the tuba, and (in high school) I marched a couple of halftime shows in my football uniform. Re: Howdy Welcome to the forums! I grew up near Anaheim in Huntington Beach (in Washington, DC now though). Come to think of it, the only real time I've spent in Anaheim is going to Disneyland
