I really am the only swedish-deaf dane around? Say buddy, whereabouts do you hang? I for one live where we bury the kings and queens... Can you be "swedish-deaf"? My problem is more in taking them seriously, they sound so funny (the Muppet chef is not far off)... And Norwegian, it's just so cute. I live on the island that has a 400 year history of being the garbage dump for our capital. Yes, I live on a pile of shit, but the grass is green here... Magnus I see! You know, according to Thor Frølich on Abekat.net, you guys had a visit from Cthulhu recently (and an old posts claim the island in question is a haunt for Fell Beasts) Lots of my family live there too... but they wouldn't know either Cthulhu or a Fell Beast if they came up an bit them on the ass. But yeah, I really am almost entirely swedish-deaf: I can read it just fine, but spoken swedish is incomprensible to me. I speak english fluently, can get by in german, understand norwegian when I have to, I used to speak spanish, heck I even have a limited grasp of japanese and can convincingly fake chinese, but swedish is like an unsolvable cipher to me!

So you need to find your Swedish "Rösätta Stöne" Magnus

(Red hair, big knockers and glasses would be optional but definitely welcome)

That's cool that you play football, do you play for an organized team or do you just play pick-up games like my friends and I?

American Football is so small in DK that there are only about 30 or 40 organized tackle-teams (and about the same number of flag-football clubs). In fact the sport is so small that you have to PAY to be on the national team. But it is growing... I hope it'll one day be at least as big as Hockey over here and get a small pro league. Or maybe some European League to replace NFL Europe. Me, I'm just playing for fun, though. Magnus

Magnus Embarassingly, I actually had to look up what my local team (the aforementioned Roskilde Kings) are called... Not really a sports fan, me.

Neither am I, I just like putting on armor and hitting people hard! Come to think of it, American Football is close to LARPing... Just look at the team names: Vikings, Buccaneers, Raiders, Cowboys, etc. Magnus
