I loved Star Trek for the pure geeky joy it brought, but it's plot holes were rivaled ONLY by Transformers 2.
My nomination is District 9. Tight story... good concept... realistic details and well used FX.

I HAVE to throw The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus out there. It doesn't come out until Christmas, but it is classic Gilliam in all it's visually odd glory.

Watchmen. Pushed my geek buttons better than Trek, although it was good too.
The Hangover though will be the movie ten years from now that I'll say I've seen the most times, I'm sure. I saw it three times in the theater, and I haven't been able to say that since The Matrix... no, Return of the King.
