 New here
Been listening to the podcast for about a month now (caught up on the available back episodes while I was at it), and figured I'd check out the forum.
I'm shoveling sunshine in Phoenix, AZ. I run the help desk for The Inventure Group (formerly Poore Brothers).
I tend to read short fiction, and as such got hooked on podcasts like 100 word stories and DrabbleCast. Right now I'm also listening to the Archangel podcasts, as well as Narative Control, Wapcaplets, Accidental Survivors, and a handful of others.
I make it a point to reread Hitchhikers guide at least once a year, and also reread The Hobbit and The Silmarillion with the same frequency (not a fan of the LotR trilogy though).
I spend my free time playing PnP RPGs, and currently am in the middle of campaigns using Exalted and Star Wars: Saga Edition. I'm recently joined a group that will be running The Shab al Hiri Roach and Trail of Cthulhu, and I'm hoping to get a group together to play Sorcerer soon.

 Re: New here
I was gaming Exalted years ago with a group. They loved it, I think it was just that they had a lot of history, didn't seem to special to me. Though now that I think about it, you could pull a huge sword out of anything you want, I imagined it like voltron pulling a sword out of nothing. And welcome!

I was poking around different AP threads trying to find a new system (had a whole been/done there/that thing going on with the campaigns I was in), and ran across Roach. There's just something about a game where you play 1920's Professors seeking tenure while trying to avoid being possessed by the spirit of an ancient cock roach that just screams "different". I'm just glad I found a group that wanted to get into a campaign of it. And thank you all for the warm welcomes!
