So I was doing a podcast for a bit last year... however, my podcast partner was 13 time zones away which made it a bit difficult. We did 3 episodes and they were fun (for us anyway, we ended up having something like 80 listens for ep1). Well, I miss it, plus I have my microphone I have to justify the cost of.

We did cool news, then talked about our tv shows up to the point they were currently... heh plenty of spoilers but we didn't care.


So....

Anyone want to start doing something with me? We did it as Audio Hostem which means I Hear the Enemy. I've got www.IHearTheEnemy.com (which I was just pointing to us in iTunes) and the show notes section on http://www.ryanmercer.com/audiohostem/ has a nice bit of SEO behind it... I've also got 2 "You're listening to Audio Hostem" clips that we were using and we have an intro/outro that an artist lets us use. We also have a voicemail and email set up.

Basically GRD is where I drew most of the inspiration for the show so is somewhat similar (the rest came from Giant Fire Breathing Robot)... differences being I'm not nearly as interesting, I liked to include a cool Kickstarter every episode and we could do anything else someone wanted to do.

I'd love to find someone that wanted to do the editing along with co-hosting as I don't have the patience or practice and my former co-host did that. Let me know!

Yeah, something you guys don't really do haha. We'd have skype issues, so we'd stop... wait a few seconds start over... or we'd have some random noise in the background on either end, stop and go back a few words... he'd drop in our "you're listening to audio hostem" tracks, music fading in and out, etc.

Ohhh.. so you are looking for a professional sounding show.

No, not really. But I don't want just a raw audio file either...
